Is an aquatics and fitness business based in Montgomery County, MD that designs custom programs to help increase lifelong adherence to sport and physical activity. Exercise Network Swim and Aquatics (ENSA) is an extension of existing aquatics programs run by Exercise Network. The goal in implementing ENSA is to further achieve our mission of encouraging others especially youth individuals to adhere to lifelong participation in physical activity.

Is to increase lifelong adherence to sport and fitness starting with youth individuals. What originated as an effort to teach kids and adults of all ages how to swim and excel in competition, has evolved into our mission of creating a customized swim team experience for current and aspiring swimmers in the DMV area.

Oftentimes some kids get lost in a big team environment and miss out on the opportunity to reach their full potential. Exercise Network Swim and Aquatics seeks to change that by helping each individual achieve personal goals through a combination of larger team practices and private/small group training sessions (in water and out of the water). Through an emphasis on achieving individualized goals, building community, and having fun we hope to inspire the next generation of swimmers to develop within the sport of swimming and adhere to lifelong participation in physical activity.

Started as a result of spending thousands of hours participating in the competitive swim world for over 15 years. Competitive swimming has provided us with the opportunity to mentor and coach kids within the sport. Wanting to learn more about improving athlete performance, we developed a passion for combining aquatics with exercise. Over the past 7 years, we have been studying and researching the positive impacts that exercise has on a person’s life. While living a healthier lifestyle depends on multiple factors, we have witnessed firsthand how learning and finding enjoyable physical activities can serve as a key motivator. For those reasons, we decided to create Exercise Network as a way to continue fulfilling our passion for swimming and fitness. Through ENSA we hope to inspire the next generation of swimmers to develop beyond competition and Live. Life. Healthier.

Did you know that 70% of youth athletes will quit organized sports by the age of 13? Common reasons include: Lack of focus and support especially in larger group settings, pressure for success, and burnout. We strive to combat this statistic by creating small training groups with an emphasis on individualized progression and goal setting. ENSA swimmers will also have access to dryland training programs led by certified fitness instructors that will add variety to swim training and combat burnout.
