Safe Sport and Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policies (MAAPP)

We value the safety of our youth athletes and want to create an environment where athletes feel welcomed, safe, and protected. To achieve this ENSA will abide by all USA Swimming Safe Sport requirements. ENSA has a zero tolerance policy for abuse and misconduct. Any member of ENSA (coaches, parents, volunteers, swimmers) who violate the Minor Athlete Abuse Protection Policies outlined below will be expelled from ENSA and subject to disciplinary consequences outlined by USA Swimming Guidelines.
When registering to become an ENSA team member, all athletes, parents, coaches, and other non-athlete members must review and sign off on safe sport and MAAPP, confirming their understanding and agreement.
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent organization that developed the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies to establish a minimum standard for safety.
We encourage all ENSA team members and parents to review the following:

All adult Athlete and Non-Athlete Members must complete Athlete Protection Training Provided by USA Swimming SWIMS online education portal: https://university.usaswimming.org/landing
Parents and ENSA Athletes (13 & Up)
We ask that competitive ENSA athletes (over 13) and all parents of competitive ENSA athletes (any age) please complete SafeSport Online Education provided via USA Swimming SWIMS portal.
